Lützerath was not only the last village to be demolished in the Rhenish lignite mining area, but also a symbol of failed energy and climate policy. It gained international attention in the press when it was occupied by climate activists and ultimately damaged the credibility of the Green Party. Lukas Reiter lived and filmed there for half a year. He shows how activists shape the reporting themselves in Lützerath and at the same time deals with the difficult position of the Green Party in this conflict. He provides an inside view of the protest and accompanies three very different protagonists: Ronni, Blinker and Green Party member of parliament Kathrin Henneberger, during and after the campaign around Lützerath.
